Byadgi chilli usage

It is grown in Indian State named Karnataka which is situated in South India. It is second largest commodity of chilli in terms of chilli trading.

Main usage of Byadgi chilli is in preparation of Bisi Bele Bath which is famous in Karnataka. Also in Sambar, Chutney and other south Indian foods. It is widely used in Udupi cuisine.

Because of it's bright red color, many use it in meat too. It's oil oleoresin, extracted from this chilli and used in preparation of polish and lipsticks.

Salem Turmeric Usage

Turmeric comes from Ginger's family. It is native of South Asia. In Europe it is considered as saffron from India or Indian Saffron because it can be used as substitute of expensive saffron spice.

Cumin is native from India and are used in many types of cuisines around the world.


Cumin is considered the best in spices after black pepper. It is very popular in Indian, Nepalese, Pakistan, Sri Lankan, Cuban cuisines. You can use cumin in traditional way like how bread from France are made. Now a days you can use it in alcohol blend too.



Usually cumin is hot and lighter in color. In India, Unjha is biggest market for cumin traders and it is one stop for all the farmers where they all sells it through auctions. Around 700 traders are based in Unjha market which is in Gujarat and around 100 km from Ahmedabad City.
